Simply Love Her & A More Congenial Spot

The two-part centerpiece of this project. The pieces include Julie Andrews as Guinevere and Richard Burton as Arthur, from photographs of them onstage during the initial run of Camelot on Broadway in 1960.
Arthur and Guinevere stand in an idyllic Camelot, but their inner thoughts, shown via song lyrics from the show on the frames around their faces, prevent them from enjoying the scene. The second piece shows Arthur alone, at the end of the story, amidst the embers of his burning kingdom. In his eyes remains an idyllic dream, which he will not relinquish.
